500 KITES IN JESOLO'S SKY
For tourists and locals, kids and families
Friday 26 May 2017 In Volo - Inseguendo un aquilone per trovare un sogno (In flight- Following a kite to find a dream) will take place, an event patronaged by the Municipality of Jesolo and organised with the I. Calvino and G. D'Annunzio comprehensive schools, thanks to the initiative of the Associazione Culturale “Mons. Giovanni Marcato”, the workshops for the construction of the kites and flying techniques in the squares are set up:
p.zza I Maggio and p.zza Milano from 09.00 a.m. to midday;
p.zza Aurora from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.;
p.zza Brescia from 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Saturday 27 May 2017, starting from 10 a.m., in Piazza Casa Bianca, the final part of the event In Volo - Inseguendo un aquilone per trovare un sogno with the launching of the kites will take place!
The programme of the event:
- 10.00 a.m. arrival and welcoming
- 10.45 a.m. greeting of the authorities and awarding of some tourists;
- welcome greetings to tourists in Italian, German, and English language by the youngsters of the schools;
- 11.00 a.m. flying of the kites
Children, youngsters, adults, and tourists are invited. Everyone will receive a kite.
