"ALI FRA MARTE" STRING QUARTET

Thursday 14 August , at 9 p.m., piazza Milano will host the "Ali Fra MarTe" string quartet, a female formation founded in 2011.

Its repertoire ranges from Tchaikovsky to Rossini, from Brahms to Schumann with insertions of contemporary music.

The musicians that compose the string quartet study at the academy of music in Rovigo, but began their musical studies in Treviso following the Suzuki method.

From 2006 the components  have been part of the "Giovani Archi Veneti" orchestra with which, in 2009, they participated in the "Insieme sul 2" television programme on RAI 2 channel and won national and international competitions such as the 2nd and 3rd  national competition "Victor de Sabata European Youth Orchestra Contest" in 2007 and 2008.

The quartet, despite the young age of its components, has performed important concerts in Italy and abroad.
