ANDY WARHOL - THE WORLD FASCINATES ME

The world fascinates me is the title of the exhibition organised by the Cultural Department of the City of Jesolo and realised by MV Eventi, at the Carlo Pecorelli Exhibition Area, in piazza Drago, from 2 May to 7 September 2014, entirely dedicated to the “wizard” of American Pop Art who, through screen printing, was able to legitimise the concept of Art, which until that moment had been reserved to an élite, making it accessible to the majority of consumers.

The exhibition will host about 30 works, among which some coming from the most important collections in the world, with the objective of making the visitor admire an unmistakable style, made of screen printing installations and images copied on absorbent paper, which put the artist in line with industrial machines.
Inauguration on Friday 2 May at 6 p.m.

Until 15 June:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
From 16 June to 7 September: every day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m.
