HOT ITALIAN SWING
On Friday 14 December 2018 at 21:00 the Vivaldi Theatre hosts Hot Italian Swing, blues & swing festival that will offer the audience a journey to the roots of Blues.
The evening will begin with the J Blues Band whose sound narrates the harshness, rhythms and hypnotic songs of Blues tradition.
Afterwards on stage the group Accordi Disaccordi, an Italian trio very active in the national and international swing scenario. The band members are: Alessandro Di Virgilio and Dario Berlucchi, guitars, and Elia Lasorsa, contrabass. The genre is a gipsy jazz repertoire, it proposes the classics of the best jazz and manouche music of ‘30s in a modern key, as wells as numerous original pieces and rearrangements of some modern pieces, a combination between pop and jazz, according to a very personal interpretation that they like to define “hot Italian swing”, with continuous inspiration to style of the famous guitarist Django Reinhardt.
