PARADE OF THE MAGIC STARS MAJORETTES
Folklore made in Jesolo
The Magic Stars majorettes of Jesolo bring their folklore and cheerfulness along the streets and in the piazzas of the city. The calendar:
- 22 June - parade from piazza Marconi to piazza Carducci
- 30 June - show in piazza Milano
- 13 July - show in piazza Rivo Alto
- 1 August - parade from piazza Brescia to piazza Mazzini
- 4 September - parade from piazza Marconi to piazza Carducci
The shows start at 9 p.m. The Magic Stars majorettes took part in several national and international events. The group, composed of thirty girls, is currently registered in the NBTA federation and participated with the national Pom Pons team in the European Championship in Belgium in 2013 and in Amsterdam in 2014 ranking at 4th place in both; in 2015 they ranked 5th in the World Twirling Competition in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD). The group, accompanied during its performances by different music bands, proposes a programme with popular traditional dances, in Venetian 1700-1800 period costumes, and modern dances.
